As explained in the Notice of AGM, shareholders should monitor the Company’s website at www.hsbc.com/agm and stock exchange announcements for the latest information on any additional procedures that will be in place at the AGM or any changes to the current arrangements.
We are enabling shareholders to attend, participate and vote electronically at the AGM and to ask questions in real time should they wish to do so. The full guide to attending the AGM electronically is shown on pages 17 to 18 of our Notice of AGM and at www.hsbc.com/agm. A summary of the steps required is set out on page 32.
To appoint more than one proxy it will be necessary for you to complete and return a form of proxy. If you have received a form of proxy in the post you may copy it, alternatively (an) additional proxy form(s) may be obtained by contacting the Registrar's on hbbm.shareholder.services@hsbc.bm. All forms must be returned together in the same envelope.

Electronic attendance at the AGM

A summary of the steps required is set out below:
1. Visit
web.lumiagm.com/100112835122 on your PC, laptop, or internet enabled device such as a tablet or smartphone. Lumi AGM can be accessed online using the latest versions of internet browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Please ensure your browser is compatible. You can access the Lumi online platform from 8.00am (London time) on Friday, 8 May 2026.
2. Thereafter, please enter your Shareholder Reference Number and PIN as detailed on your Form of Proxy or E-Mail Notification.
If you appoint a corporate representative or proxy, and they wish to attend the meeting electronically, you or they will need to contact the Company’s registrar before 10.00am (London time) on Wednesday, 6 May 2026 to arrange for a Unique Username and Personal Identification Number to be sent to them in order to be able to access the Lumi online platform. Please refer to the Notice of AGM for further details.
